We want your event to be seamless and successful. Because the North Garden Theater is a unique, historic event space, we’ve found that the best-fit events usually fall within these parameters. Please review this checklist to see if your vision aligns with our venue’s capabilities.

The Essentials

Location: We are proudly located in the heart of St. Paul, Minnesota.

Capacity: Our space is designed for intimate to mid-sized gatherings, with a maximum guest limit of 150.

In-House Bar: We provide full-service in-house bar options. To comply with licensing, all alcohol must be provided by NGT; outside alcohol is not permitted.

Furnishings: We provide tables and chairs for up to 150 guests. Need something more specific? Talk with us and we'll see what we can do - or suggest.

Catering Freedom: We offer an open catering policy! You are welcome to work with any licensed and insured caterer that fits your taste and budget. You're also welcome to bring in food from a local restaurant or grocer. Just no home cooking please.

The Timeline

Tours: We host private tours for events with a date or date range selected within the next 16 months.

Contracts: We are currently booking and issuing contracts for events within the next 14 months.

The Details

Music & Sound: We are a perfect fit for DJs (from our Approved DJ List) and small musical ensembles. To respect our historic structure and neighbors, we typically do not host large or high-volume bands.

Direct Communication: We love working with you! While you are welcome to hire an event planner for your own needs, we require a direct line of communication with our clients to ensure no details are lost in translation.
